Spanish Royal Family attend Easter pageant in Chinchon

King Felipe and Queen Letizia were joined by their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, in Chinchon to attend The Passion Play, coinciding with the 60th anniversary cultural activity linked to Holy Week.

The Easter pageant takes place on Holy Saturday at sunset. It was declared an artistic-religious act of National Tourist Interest in 1980 and is also the oldest Passion Play that is represented in the Community of Madrid, which began in 1963.

How nice to have the whole family together for Easter. They all looked very casual and nice for this Passion Play. I don't like the long, wool vest or the black mules on Leonor. They age her. But, so nice to see her home and with the family.

The royal family has chosen an appropriately discreet monochrome theme for the Passion Play, the Sfrea Embroidered top introduces a softer theme in the artisan-style patterns and looks well on Letizia. A good pick by Sofia! Letizia's Adolfo Dominguez black Vacchetta Shoulder Bag is a handsome piece with a hint of casual and the Hugo Boss ballet shoes are sweet. Only the trousers look a bit baggy against the full top. The marbled effect Massimo Dutti drops are perfect.

I think Sofia looks terrific while still low key in her leather jacket and she's teamed it well with the black Breton top and narrow leg trousers with white sneakers. Eleanor is her match in chic with her mother's Roberto Verino long wool vest with its smart notch collar and the sleek Adolfo Dominguez mule slippers, though again with slightly baggy white pants. Her mother's Zlatarna David hoop earrings are spot on. It's fun to see the girls of the family swap clothes like this, a neat way to recycle, Lovley for the family to be reunited with Leonor home from her studies

The Queen's casual wear fits the occasion. She looks lovely. The jacket Sofia is wearing, I love. Eleanor looks equally smart, its fabulous, the royal ladies can borrow and mix, match.

A wonderful family gathering, how lovely for the Royal family. The b/white embroided blouse is beautiful, well crafted. I love the black ballet flats with her pants.
