The King and Queen of Spain presided over the presentation of the COTEC 2020 Report, with a round table on 'innovation for economic recovery' at Edificio Central de Distrito Telefónica in Madrid.
The annual COTEC Report is prepared by the Cotec Foundation for Innovation of which King Felipe VI is the honorary president. It is a private non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote innovation as an engine for economic and social development.
The COTEC Report reflects the situation of R&D & Innovation in Spain through the analysis of the main national, regional, and international indicators. The Report revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects 'make it even more evident that science and innovation are fundamental to face global crises and great social challenges'.
Queen Letizia brought back the mixed fuchsia bouclé top she first wore in November of 2016 for a visit to the headquarters of the Spanish Episcopal Conference. The brand/designer of the piece remains unknown.
Today she teamed it with slim black trousers and her black Carolina Herrera suede pointed toe pumps.

It's lovely to see Letizia in full-length images once again, and even bursting out in an encouraging pink, perhaps an optimistic note as Spain cautiously attempts to leave lockdown. The effects of working with social distancing are well underlined by the lecture hall seating being so spread out.
