The Queen of Spain attended a seminar on Health and Climate Change titled "Invest in climate action for Health: cut emissions, clean our air, save lives" at IFEMA-Feria de Madrid.
The event took place within the XXV edition of the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP25).
Her Majesty premiered a black double-breasted wool-blend coat from CH Carolina Herrera.
The wool-blend coat features a stand-up collar and mabe pearl button front.
She accessorised with her Bottega Veneta iconic 'Knot' clutch and Manolo Blahnik snakeskin pumps with custom rubber platform sole.
Queen Letizia topped off the look with her bezel-set diamond stud earrings.
Following this engagement, Queen Letizia joined her husband, King Felipe at the 99th edition of the ABC International Journalism Awards: 'Mariano de Cavia', 'Luca de Tena' and 'Mingote' at Casa de ABC in Madrid.
At this black-tie event, Queen Letizia took off her coat to reveal a black fringed dress by Hugo Boss.
The sheath features long fringing with hand-crafted macramé towards the wide neckline. The dress will be available as part of the BOSS Spring 2020 collection. The brand currently offers a top version of the design.
UPDATE March 2020: The Hugo Boss macramé and fringe dress is now available in a gown silhouette.
The $795 'Dandora' long-length dress by BOSS Womenswear, features a hand-crafted macramé detailing across the shoulders and fluid fringing at the upper body and arms. Designed in satin-back crepe made in Japan, this sleek gown is cut to a feminine silhouette with a flatteringly wide neckline.
Letizia swapped her diamond stud earrings for the dazzling Joyas de Pasar diamond chanton earrings.

Perfection personified! I love how Queen Letizia was able to go from a seminar to a black-tie event by simply removing a coat and swapping earrings! This dress, and her hair and makeup are very edgy. She continues to mix things up and it's never boring following the Spanish queen!

Wow! Two fabulous looks that Queen Letizia delivers with aplomb. Who would think fringed sleeves could look sophisticated in the way the Queen wears this dress. Coat, dress, shoes, bag nailed! Two ticks from me.

Love the HB dress. Her straight edgy hair real modern. But, of course changing to those big diamond earrings! Wow! Go QL!

This dress is modern, contemporary & elegant all at the same time. I adore the fishnet on the shoulders and fringes on the sleeves. It's a unusual and original design for Letizia and I think she looks great. The straight hairstyle is also a nice change that flatters her face. The CH coat with the pearl buttons is beautiful.

I can't believe we have another fabulous look before the royal-watching year is over. The bohemian inspired piece is quite dramatic with the macramè yoke and refined fringing that hits the hip line, creating a French sleeve effect on the arms. The decadent display feels somewhat mysterious with the knotting against the skin, you almost catch a glimpse of her figure between the silky strands, while the strapless dress beautifully skims her figure. This is a stunning piece from Hugo Boss and reminds me of the border of a Manila shawl. I wonder if this is a bespoke creation by the brand... I would love to see the company adapt runway styles for her, they have made some gorgeous custom pieces for red carpet events. The large stones appear contemporary against the poker-straight hair and dramatic eye makeup. The new Carolina Herrera coat is a welcome addition to her collection, the classic belted piece has proved a valuable staple to her wardrobe over the last two years. My only quibble is that in general, I wish the Queen would invest in another pair of Manolo Blahnik evening shoes. The pumps work perfectly well here allowing the eye to focus solely on the dress, but I find that the rubber platform detracts from the elegant line of the shoe. The Spanish designer has some dreamy options in his collection or there are far more alluring plain pumps by other designers that would be appropriate for her role and cocktail wear.

Just when I was sick of the reddish-copper eye look she has been sporting recently, QL knocks it out of the park with this smokey grey eye and straight hair. Very rock and roll, awesome!

Letizia looks stunning in both the coat and the dress. The open work yoke on the dress is beautiful. I am undecided about the fringe sleeves. They do look edgy and dramatic, but I wonder how well they would stand up over a long period of time. Would the fringe get snarled and ratty looking? Although unlike us, Letizia might only wear this once or a minimum of times.

I can't imagine what it would be like wearing expensive clothes like this dress only once or twice. It must be so much fun being Letizia and having access to all those gorgeous clothes. Her life is a fashionista's dream come true.

This is a sensational fringe dress. A modern and edgy look. Exquisite yoke and fringe extending down the arm is beautifully crafted, so unusual, its dramatic and hits the mark perfectly. The fit and length are spot on, it is superb. Maybe a different pair of shoes, would have really polished this look, completely. Loved the diamond stud earrings, great choice. Hair and makeup - perfect. The coat is divine, so elegant. The 2nd picture of the Queen sitting, I love this photo. She has such poise and grace, her posture, clasped hands, feet placement so ladylike to me, I'd love to be able to sit so elegantly! Outstanding.

I love the Herrera coat, the quality tailoring, unusual stand-up collar with wide opening to match the width of the double-breasted buttons, the fit and flare style; a true classic and beautifully worn by the Queen.
