The King and Queen of Spain travelled to La Palma, Canary Islands on Saturday to pay tribute to its people affected by last year's eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
The eruption which started on September 19, 2021, lasted for 85 days and destroyed over 1,241 hectares and 2,988 buildings. On arrival, Their Majesties took a stroll in the town and visited local businesses.
Queen Letizia wore her white Uterque Lace and Ruffles Linen Top teamed with blue Liu Jo bootcut jeans.
She carried her white Carolina Herrera Initials Insignia small shoulder bag.
Later in the day, Their Majesties presided over the tribute ceremony to the people of La Palma.
For the ceremony, Queen Letizia wore her lilac Bleis Madrid crepe trouser suit (shown below in white). She debuted the two-piece suit last September for World Cancer Research Day.
Today she coordinated it with Magrit accessories in a matching lilac hue. The pumps appear to be based on the brand's 'Vera' model.

Queen Letizia paid homage to La Palma by sporting a handmade embroidered blouse by local fashion label Pomeline. The top was designed by its Creative Director, Ana María Rodríguez for the Monaco Collection. It is made with traditional embroidery techniques preserved on the island of La Palma.
Letizia wore new earrings by Pisando Colores, also a brand from the island. The €45 'Charco' earrings are handmade using recycled silver and glass fragments collected on the seashore.

Queen Letizia of Spain attended the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) Madrid at Ifema on Friday, marking its 75th anniversary this year.
More than 40 designers make up the parade calendar of the MBFW Madrid. Her Majesty toured the stands and met with designers presenting their collections during Fashion Week.
She also held a meeting with members of the MBFW Madrid Fashion Committee to hear about the the objectives and impact factors in the sector.
Queen Letizia stepped out in a new white outfit reportedly by her own dressmaker. It appears the custom set consists of a puffed-sleeve blouse, and a midi skirt featuring two front slits.

The Queen of Spain presided over the XX edition of the 'In Memoriam' concert - a tribute to the victims of terrorism, at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid on Thursday evening.
The annual event brings together the main institutions of the State, Government, political parties and different social and economic strata of Spanish society.

The King and Queen of Spain were in Málaga on Monday to inaugurate the "Talent Tour", a new initiative of the Princess of Girona Foundation (FPdGi) and TRIVU which will take place in several Spanish cities in the coming months.
The tour aims to create a movement for the future of young people in Spain, thus generating a community of opportunities that connect, activate, and enhance their talent.

The Queen of Spain presented the Mutua Madrileña Foundation Grants for Social Projects in its 10th edition at the Mutua Madileña's auditorium in Madrid on Thursday.
The annual awards recognize and help promote initiatives by non-profit entities that contribute to improving the socioeconomic reality and quality of life of various vulnerable groups.
Queen Letizia made a sartorial statement for the occasion, wearing a Ukrainian vyshyvanka embroidered blouse.
The embroidery is a fundamental element of the Ukrainian folk costume. According to Wikipedia, the vyshyvanka not only speaks of its Ukrainian origin but also of the particular region in which it was made. Embroidery is thus an important craft within Ukraine and different techniques exist to suit local styles with their own particular patterns and colours.
