A gossip!! 😋, the coat Letizia wore in 2012 (photo above) now is wearing by Leonor. She was seen strolling by the centre of Madrid in that coat.

There you go scrolling down:

Ps: we have reached the monochrome (white and black) time of the year as every year 😉😫

I really like this outfit, it's edgy yet feminine. I like the cut and length of the skirt and the top adds interest. The cape looks cozy and warm.

What I really like about Letizia is that she is always trying new and different styles. She is not afraid to experiment. She doesn't always hit a home run but you have to give her credit for being creative. This outfit is a winner IMHO. I absolutely love the unique style of the top. It's very modern but since it's fitted and wraps around the waist it marries well with the classic A-line skirt. The black button is the perfect accessory that blends in well with the black leather. This outfit is a vast improvement of the disaster of 2019.

Its a fabulous blouse in many ways. Its very different, edgy and creative looking. The gathering at the neckline adds softness, sleeves have a classic vibe, even with the off balanced shirt tail the blouse is still soft and feminine, offset by the creamy fabric. The leather skirt really takes this outfit up a notch. Love the choice of shoes and clutch. I love how she takes fashion risks and pulls it off so well.

Hi Ava, I completely agree. Letizia, is often experimental in her fashion choices, with her innate elegance she is able to pull off bold looks effortlessly. I always enjoy reading your comments, you look for the best in every outfit.

Hi Jennifer, oh thank you, that is so nice. Yes, the experimentation is one of the things I really like about the Queen's fashion choices, It is always a surprise and surely original, when she takes a fashion diversion! It has given me inspiration to be more adventurous in the fashion choices I make.

Hi Ava, that's great to hear that the Queen has inspired some of your fashion choices. One of the many lovely reasons for coming to this blog :o) Some of her daywear is quite relatable, for ideas on how to mix and match similar styles across our wardrobes. Letizia certainly keeps us on our toes, and is a joy to follow!

I adore this outfit, it is because of looks like this that I follow the Queen's style. The pieces are relevant and trend-driven while befitting a modern working royal. After several years of leather pencil skirts taking dominance in Letizia's wardrobe, the relaxed A-line cut provides a refreshing change. Despite the skirt’s soft panels of supple leather, it appears understated, whilst the crisp cotton blouse is directional with its origami-style pleats and nipped-in waist. The blouson inspired sleeves harmonize the proportions, albeit small, a powerful contrast is offered to the stark white with the snap button, which helps pull the whole ensemble together. There is an ease and effortlessness to this look, with the measured balance of fabric, undone glossy hair and classic black accessories.

Oh dear, looks like I'm stuck in the past, as I feel leather is better suited to a fitted look and alone seem to be unhappy here with the double load of fullness in both skirt and top. I can't recall seeing an A-line leather skirt with enough leather to cause large hanging folds like these before, but probably haven't been paying attention ;-)

Hi Bertie, I prefer fitted leather too. A simply styled black leather pencil skirt can look irresistibly chic. I was sorry to read that this ensemble didn't work for you. I think I was so taken by this look because it's quietly very feminine. It should present as powerful, and it does, but it's equally graceful with the tapered waist and ladylike length. I'd be surprised if I enjoyed this skirt as much if it were styled more romantically.

Letizia seems to have an asymmetric theme going on here and I think the Uterque blouse is wonderfully well done. The clever pleating, the well-placed front button securing the two ties which so nicely begin behind the back rather than sprouting from side seams, manage to combine style with good taste.

It might well work with a black skirt, but I can't help retaining a preference for a narrow fit under the peplum-effect top. I find there is too much fabric with both items having a flared element, particularly since the skirt is in a relatively heavy leather.

I simply love the Herrera check coat-cape, a really fun piece with a textured-style pattern and those angled pockets at odds with the check, A lovely, refreshing contrast. Practical black Herrera clutch and Magrit pumps make for a businesslike ensemble.

I tried. But i'm not a fan. between the button and the leather skirt. Too peculiar.

The look reminded me of Dynasty and Alexis Carrington and I don't even know why. :)
