FASHION FLASHBACK
For the first four years since attending in her role as Queen consort, Letizia relied on Felipe Varela to outfit her for the annual concert.   In 2018 she dropped the Spanish couturier and has since worn a mix of designers.

The embellishment on this dress looks like a fancy bib and I find the halter shape too sporty to be elegant. The hot pink suit and green dress on the daughters, however, are fantastic! I love the draping on both. The suit exudes confidence and the dress is elegant but the shorter length makes it fresh and fun at the same time.

All three ladies look very glamourous. The standout in my opinion is Leonor in that great hot pink pantsuit. I only wish that the jacket was a bit tighter at the waist because it looks a bit loose/big on her. Sofia looks great in teal green. And Letizia's dress is very dramatic with the gold embellishment against the black velvet.

I agree with all you say, Geneviève. This is an event when the young princesses look more appropriately dressed than the Queen.

This is a lovely gown, with some interesting features. I prefer the length of this gown as opposed to the models. The dress is unusual and interesting. The embellishments against the black velvet are striking. Looks very individual which appeals to me. Love the large hoops, perfect choice.

All three royal ladies are looking very lovely for the Awards concert. But I especially like Letizia's Teresa Helbig halter dress, the embellished bib is most striking and the arrangement of the looped neckline very effective.

There's originality and a hint of daring there while contained in a classic sheath silhouette. The black accessories work wonderfully, especially the angular clip front on the Magrit clutch chiming with the unusual angular oblong bib-style. The Herrera slingbacks are always elegant. I love that the Coolook zircona hoops chime so well with the silvery bib embellishment.

Leonora looks very swish in her Laura Berbal pantsuit with its oh-so-feminine front bow. And I like her accessory mix of black clutch contrast against the pink suit and then pink Herrera slingbacks, looking a lot like ones her mother wears. Sofia's THE-ARE mini dress is sophisticated and chic in shiny turquoise and the crossover front helps her show off those amazing legs perfectly. The By-Mum shiny ballet flats have a mix of evening and low-key which keeps her edgy while also slightly low-key beside her sister and mother. King Felipe looks justifiably proud of his glamorous family.
